Buzz Points is Going Away in 2020
Fond du Lac Credit Union rolled out Buzz Points in 2014 as a debit card rewards program that promoted “shopping local” while supporting locally owned businesses within our community. There have been many changes made at Buzz Points that have diminished the “shop local” focus. This past January (2019) Buzz Points introduced a new reward redemption process called Real-Time Rewards (RTR). RTR was intended to streamline the overall redemption process. Unfortunately, the redemption changes prevented several of our local merchant partners to continue to participate in the program. Buzz Points' vision has changed, and with that, we have found their values no longer align with ours. Over the first few months of 2020, we will be winding down the Buzz Points program. Below is a schedule of key dates to be aware of for the program wind down. Please note any unused points at the end of the program period will be forfeited.
